Company for artist's book production (2010) Brochure, 12 pages, 170 x 250 mm, digital printing. Small publication presenting a project on artist's book by the curator Julia Trolp and Melania Gazzotti. All images are placed in even-numbered pages, while all text, including captions, in odd ones. The cover comes under both the repetition of this rule. | |
Dove viviamo (2010) Series of catalogues, 32 pages, 225 x 330 mm (book and landscape format), staple bound. Where we live is a project by the Osservatorio Fotografico and consists of a series of commissions in which two photographers are instructed to investigate the Ravenna territory. The project involves the design of a series of catalogs which may work, depending on the artist's project, both in vertical (book) and horizontal format (album). it was thus designed, to highlight the dual committee and the dual format, not only to be recognizable but also to work together. The graphic element of the series is a simple black line that cuts horizontally the vertical format and vertically the horizontal one, when the books are placed side by side the format of the book itself is recreated. | |

Queste sei fotografie (2010) Book, 20 pages, 140 x 210 mm. Project realized with the photographer Marcello Galvani, the book comes from the idea to publish all the photographs (six) taken by a worker at the harbor of Olbia with the momentarily lost camera of the photographer himself. The book is composed of two materials: a jacket containing all the texts and a sixteen page thread bound booklet containing all the photographs. Riccardo Baruzzi (2010) Book, 64 pages, 165 x 230 mm. Printed in occasion of the exhibition of the artist Riccardo Baruzzi "Quando disegno non canto", the catalog is intended as a sort of address book: 4 sections A, B, C and D (4 sixteen page) as carriers of artist's various types of production. Both the cover design (which simply offers all sections with their titles), and its construction (glued on back cover only), allow to see the entire structure of the book. | |

The-Aleph.jpg (2009) The idea is to use a picture of Borges' book and his bitstream as text to investigate two ways of designing. The white book is designed in TextEdit by simply accepting his limits, while in the black one the same content is forcibly organized in InDesign according to the classic layouts of a common literature book. Orecchia/Orecchiona (2008) Project for the gallery aggregato. ‘Orecchia’ is a booklet of A4 sheets in three different colors folded in half to form signatures in A5 format. Each sheet has one or more handmade folds, to create stories made of paper, colors and shadows.
